I’m here! The people-loving, 1-year-old, 100 lb. Pyr who’s happy to avoid car rides and play with you instead! In fact, I love playing with kids so much, I forget I outweigh some of them, lol. Surely you know I’m not trying to knock them over, it just happens. Hey, I have a great idea: you buy some super-duper treats and I’ll practice not jumping over and over and over until all the snacks are gone! I lived with a lab, so I know I’m dog friendly, but I don’t know what it’s like living and sleeping in a house, even though I used to visit my neighbors every day for extra hugs and ear rubs. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
