My Story
Hi, I’m Ross! I’m a sweet, affectionate little guy who’s ready to find my forever home! Right now, I’m having a blast in my foster home with my three canine siblings. I love cuddles, hugs, and just being close to my humans. I’ll even wrap my arms around your neck for a good hug—my favorite thing ever!
I’m super playful, but I’m also pretty chill. I love lounging around on the couch or dog beds, and I’m always happy to settle down for a nap with my foster siblings. But when it’s playtime, I’m all in! I’m starting to get the hang of being brave around the bigger dogs, and now I give them kisses and play with them. Sometimes, I’ll even “protect” the house and bark when I think someone is approaching, but it’s usually just me being a little guy trying to do big things!
I’m learning my basic commands like “sit” and “come.” I’m also a really good boy at mealtime and don’t get protective over food.
While I’m still learning a lot—like walking on a leash and telling you when I need to go out—I’m doing great. I’m very smart and get along with everyone, including cats! I’m friendly with all kinds of people, and I love to give kisses. I’m even starting to engage in play with my foster Pyr sibling, and I’ve heard it’s so sweet to watch!
If you’re looking for a lovable, snuggly little guy who will make you smile with his sweetness and cuddly personality, I might be the one for you! I can’t wait to meet you and show you just how much love I have to give. Apply to adopt me today!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
