My Story

Hi there! I’m Rocko, a happy, playful pup who’s looking for my very own foster or forever home. I wandered up to some property one day and was lucky enough to be taken in by GPRA, and now I’m dreaming about the family I’ll get to grow up with.

I may still be young, but I’ve already learned some good manners! I know how to sit, stay, and lie down, and I walk really nicely on a leash (no pulling or zig-zagging!). I’m housetrained almost all the time, and when I’m left alone, I can hang out in the living room for a few hours without a problem.

I’m a social little guy who loves everyone I meet—kids, grown-ups, strangers, other dogs—you name it, I’ll greet them with tail wags. I’m even good with cats! (One hissed and lunged at me once, and I just sat politely like a gentleman.)

My activity level is medium—I love playtime, walks, and hanging out with doggy friends, but I’m just as happy being a love bug and soaking up all the pets. My only “flaw”? Baths. Yuck. I really, really don’t like them. But hey, nobody’s perfect, right?
