My Story

Hi, I’m Riley — and I’ve already come a long way in my short little life.

I was rescued from a gas station parking lot, where I was dropped off at just a few weeks old. Life could’ve taken a very different turn for me, but a kind human gave me a second chance and taught me what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for.

I’m living in a foster home, and doing all the good puppy things — learning, playing, snuggling, and growing! I’m house-trained already (yep, I’ll paw or whimper to let you know when I need out) and I know some basic commands like sit, stay, come, and down. I’m smart, curious, and totally food motivated, so training me is a breeze!

I’m a little shy at first, especially with new people, but once I warm up, I’m sweet, quiet, and totally loyal. I love car rides, I’m great in stores, and I’ll happily sit by your side and take it all in. I’m good with other dogs and curious but calm around cats. I’m still teething, so I do chew a bit, but I respond well to gentle correction and redirection.

Right now, I just need someone to keep showing me the ropes — someone who will give me patience, love, and consistency as I grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. If you’re looking for a gentle, smart, and loving pup with a heart full of potential, I’d love to meet you.
