My Story

Hi there! My name’s Princess, and I’ve had quite the adventure lately. I was out there, roaming the neighborhood, just doing my thing—sniffing around, exploring, and living life to the fullest. But then, something amazing happened. A nice family found me! Since my owners could not be found, they brought me to GPRA.

Now, I’m staying at the vet clinic, and I’m doing well. They’ve been taking care of me, making sure I’m healthy and happy. I’ve been getting plenty of attention from the staff, and let me tell you, I love it! They’ve been really kind, and I’ve been soaking up all the pets and affection.

While I’ve been around other dogs here at the clinic, I haven’t had much of a reaction to them. During Adoption Day, I tried to initiate some play with another rescued dog by play bowing, which was super fun. She responded with her own play bows.

As for cats? I’m not sure yet, so I’ll leave that mystery unsolved for now. But I do want to let everyone know that I’m a flight risk—so I need to be handled with care, especially around opened doors!

Life’s looking pretty good right now, and I can’t wait to see what comes next. Who knows? Maybe a new forever family is just around the corner! Until then, I’m safe, loved, and ready for whatever adventures come my way.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
