Pookie

Hi, all my perfect pyr people! I’m Pookie, and I’m a playful pup! I love using the letter P because that’s the first letter of my name. I perk up at the sight of people, cats, and dogs because I’m passionately interested in the world around me. I’m a personable dude as my GPRA friends will tell you. I crave attention and affection, and being a popular pup, I am used to getting a lot of love. My pure puppy energy sometimes means I’ll jump up to make sure you notice me, but like all puppies, I can learn to be more patient through positive reinforcement. My foster mommy says I’m attention and food motivated, so training me will be a pleasant experience. I’ve already become proficient at following the commands: sit and lay down, and while I need a bit more practice on the leash, I already do pretty well. I even ride well in the car. I’m darn near pyr-fect and would love to become a part of your life!
