Pixie
Most pixies are small with pointed ears and wear pointed hats. NOT this one! Hi everyone, I’m a 2-year-old, 79 lb. big white girl dog with soft flowing ears and zero desire to wear any kind of hat. I do, however, have a very strong desire to live with people, be pet, eat plenty of food, have clean water, be dry when it rains, and bring smiles to strangers’ faces. Sadly, that’s all I can share with you now because as you’ve read many times on what we Pyrs call “the magic web page”, I was a stray until GPRA saved me from a county shelter. We should probably plan some getting-to-know-you time to make sure we’re compatible. How about a decade or so of hugs and ear rubs, just to see how it goes? Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
