My Story

Hi there… I’m Pip 💛

I might not be the bravest boy right away, but give me a little time and I promise you’ll see just how special I am. I’m a gentle, mindful soul who likes to take in the world at my own pace. New things can feel a little big sometimes, but I’m learning every day that they’re not so scary after all.

What I am sure about? I love people. One of my favorite things is leaning into you and resting my head in your lap while you give me soft pats—I could stay there forever. Those quiet, loving moments are my favorite.

I’m more of a laid-back guy—think “lounging in the yard with occasional play breaks.” I enjoy being outside, soaking in the fresh air, and watching the world go by. I’m not super into toys, but if I find something fun, I might invite you into a little game of keep-away 😉

I really like other dogs, especially confident ones. They help me feel safe and show me the ropes. Because of that, I’d do best in a home with a friendly dog buddy who can help me build my confidence and remind me that everything is okay.

I’m still learning about things like leashes and new adventures. Sometimes I get a little unsure, but with patience, encouragement, and lots of love, I know I’ll keep getting braver. I’ve already come such a long way!

If you’re someone who understands that the best relationships take a little time—and that the sweetest dogs are often the ones who need a gentle start—I just might be your perfect match.

I’m ready to find my person… could it be you? 🐾

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
