Hello, my pyr friends! My name’s Lucy Joy, and I can feel fall in the air! Just like trees sway in the Autumn wind, I’ll wag my tail side-to-side as soon as I see you. I’m a friendly girl who loves my people. Trees tend to grow near each other, and I truly cherish being close to my foster family. Those little pinecones, I think you call them children, are also adorable! I love to play with them, and I enjoy cuddling them as well. My furry brethren are my friends too! I’m good with both cats and dogs. When I’m not hanging with my fuzzy and human family, I like to explore the house and yard. I also really like to eat! If you’re ready to feed me, just call out, “PJ!”, and I’ll come running. There’s a lot of cute and cozy things about fall, but I’m especially cute and cozy! I’m a gentle, calm pyr with a playful side, and I can’t wait to become a part of your family tree.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
