Peter Piper
Hellos! I am Peter Piper.
Everyone says that I am the boy that captures your heart at hello!
My backstory is a bit sad. You see, I ended up in a shelter emaciated and in rough shape. The caring Shelter staff knew I was extra special and nurtured me back to health. They then contacted GPRA to say that I was ready to be adopted. (Saying goodbye to them was hard, but I will be forever thankful for the care and love they gave me.)
GPRA’s team of fabulous volunteers also sees how special I am. Here is what they think about me.
“Peter Piper is an absolute love ❤️ bug!” (I even got a heart with that comment. Thank you!)
“Peter Piper is such a good boy. He listens beautifully and sits to be collared and leashed for walks.”
“I love chasing balls with Peter Piper. He is so much fun!” (Yes, I am a fun boy! Will you play with me, too?)
“This boy wants to be loved and pet all the time. I enjoy just being with him.” (Aww, thank you. I love being with loving humans, too!)
GPRA thinks that a knowledgeable Pyr owner will be a great fit for me.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
