My Story

Hey there, future best friend! My name is Perrin, and I’m looking for a forever home where I can be part of the action. I’m a fun-loving, fluffy guy with a lot of personality, and I promise to keep life exciting!

Here’s what you should know about me:

  • I love people—especially kids! I don’t like being left out of the fun, so I’d prefer to be where the action is.

  • I get along with submissive female dogs.

  • When I get excited, I can be a bit bouncy—think of me as a big, happy goofball!

  • I’m house-trained and can be left alone for up to 8 hours like a champ.

  • I love being brushed—seriously, don’t stop, or I’ll give you the famous “PYR paw” as a reminder.

  • A 6-ft fence is a must because I can clear a 4-ft one like an Olympian.

  • I’m a bit of a flight risk, so always leash me before opening doors. Safety first!

  • Mealtime is serious business, so I should be fed separately from other pets.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and playful companion who just wants to be with his people, I might be the perfect fit! Let’s meet and see if we’re meant to be. 🐾💙

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
