Well, by now you might know my pack and I just arrived at GPRA. I’m one of the girls,  2.5-years-old, and need to lose a few of my 116 lbs. As for my adoptability rating, I hope it’s super high so here goes… I’m good with other dogs and kids, never met a cat and I’m content being in my pen. Yep, I’ve lived outside my whole life but I’m not a livestock guardian like some outdoor Pyrs. Humans call me very shy and laid back, unless I’m in a car. THAT is not a favorite activity so when you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below to meet me, it’s best if you drive to me. Calming meds or chews help so we don’t have to stay home all the time. But, if you’re kind of shy or laid back, then maybe we can just fall in love and hang out at home?

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
