My Story

Hi! I’m Patty Mae, and I’m looking for my perfect forever family!

If you’re searching for a smart, loving girl with a little personality and a whole lot of heart, I think we should meet!

I’ve settled into my foster home really well and have become best buddies with my foster brother, Bert Halo. We have so much fun together! I’ve learned that I like to choose my dog friends carefully, and when I find one I click with, we’re friends for life.

I’m a wonderful walking companion and have great leash manners, so I’d love to join you on neighborhood strolls or weekend adventures. One of my absolute favorite things is hopping in the car. The moment you open the passenger door, I’m ready to go! Whether it’s a trip to the park, a drive through town, or just running errands, count me in.

I’m also a very good houseguest. I sleep quietly in my crate all night, and my foster family says I’m doing great with my potty routine. I’ve only had one accident while learning the schedule!

Now, I should probably confess… I’m a bit of a foodie. I’m not easily fooled when it comes to snacks, especially if you’re trying to sneak medicine into them. Nice try! Beef is definitely my favorite, and if you’ve got something delicious cooking, I’ll be your biggest fan.

New adult friends don’t bother me at all, and I’m curious about children, too. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms can make me nervous, so I’d be happiest in a calm, quieter home where I can feel safe and secure.

If you already have a dog, I’ll let you know pretty quickly if we’re a good match. I’m looking for a family that understands quality friendships are more important than quantity!

Could you be the person I’ve been waiting for? I have so much love to give and can’t wait to find the home where I truly belong.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
