Oso Bear
Hey, all. I am the loveable Oso Bear! Would you believe that I was surrendered to a Shelter because I kept getting out? All I want is to be loved, feel safe and find my very own fur-ever family.
GPRA’s dedicated walking volunteers are the most fabulous humans I have ever met, which makes me Pyr-happy. Here’s what they said bout me.
“Oso Bear is such a sweet, goofy boy! He saw a squirrel run by and did not seem too bothered. He is not overly interested in treats and prefers petting. He will Pyr paw you for pets. He is amazing on the leash and so sweet. I want to cuddle him all day!” (I want to cuddle with you all day, too!)
“Oso Bear is one affectionate dude. He greeted me with a big gentle hug and then an immediate Pyr paw! (Aw -shucks. Thank you.)
“Oso Bear welcomed lots of petting at our first meeting. Sadly, he looks a bit rough and needs fur to grow back in places. But, with grooming, a bath or two, and good nutrition, he will be a very handsome boy!” (My Pyr heart loves all of these compliments!)
“Oso Bear is a very friendly Pyr. He is extremely light on the leash and heeled all the way. He did not react to nearby deer. He needs 10 + pounds and is going to be one spectacular-looking Pyr!”
What else do you need to know to fall in love with me? How about you come to meet me?
Your Pyr-paw boy, Oso Bear 🐾♥️🐾
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
