Greetings, pyr people! I’m Olive, and I can’t wait to meet you! Olives come in all different colors, and I have a few: white, brown, black, gray. Okay, so I’m mostly cream-colored because I’m a pyr, but my markings are beautiful! My foster mama says I’m just as beautiful on the inside. I’m bursting with so much love that I just want to jump up and give hugs! We’re working on the command “off,” though, and Foster Mom is teaching me “sit” too. I’ve got a bit of that typical pyr stubbornness, but when my foster doggy brother was getting a treat for doing a command, I realized I could do it too! When I’m not learning, I like to do a variety of things. Just like olives come in many different flavors like garlic-stuffed, cheese-stuffed, and pepper-stuffed, new activities are what keep life entertaining. Foster Mommy says I like to patrol the fence, chew bones, play chase with my foster dog bro, and sniff everything! I’m a puppy, so I’m always busy having fun. When I’m not running around in the backyard, I like to get petted by my foster family. I love all the attention and cuddles you can give me. All you have to do is look at my sweet face, and you know I’m going to be the best, most loyal girl. Take me home, and olive you forever! Get it? Ol-ive you sounds like I’ll love you, and I will!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
