Double the fluff; double the love; double the magnificence!
Hellos to everyone. We are Nike (gray ears) and Adidas (all white). Are you looking for endless hugs from two big whites?
GPRA has lots of great things to tell you about us.
“Both boys are super sweet and give kisses and lots of Pyr paws. They are people-oriented and very playful!”
“Adidas and Nike are entertaining on walks because they run, play, drop, and roll together. Their bond is magical and undeniable, and they greatly complement each other. Adidas can be a little less active, while Nike likes to be more active.”
“Both Pyrs have loveable personalities and are curious and great with kids and other dogs.”
“Their leash manners are improving, and the boys know the commands,  “sit” and “come.” They will chase a cat, so be careful and aware.”
“Adidas and Nike are big-hearted Pyrs and full of joy. They love life and live it to its fullest!
“The boys will bury their favorite stuffed toys probably to hide them from each other.”
“Nike can be a bit more reserved and independent. He howls and whines and has a hoarse-sounding bark to call for people to come to hang with him. But, without a doubt, he is as sweet as can be! Both dogs will thrive with kind-hearted owners.”
We promise that adopting us will be the greatest gift you receive this year!
Pyrly yours, Nike and Adidas
GPRA Update: Nike is recovering from emergency surgery. He swallowed what was thought to have been fabric/string material that flipped his stomach. (This can be life-threatening to dogs.) Nike will fully recover but needs low activity for a few weeks. GPRA advises owners to pick up toys when dogs are done playing to limit the risks of dogs accidentally swallowing pieces of their toys or even socks.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
