April showers bring May flowers, and one of those Spring flowers has already bloomed. It’s me, Misty Gigi! You can see my gorgeous pyr-ents, Moose and Shadow Gigi, who are available for adoption as well. My eyes are the blue of a misty morning, and I’ve been told eye color doesn’t set in until three to four months of age. You might even get misty-eyed over how adorable I am! One of my most marvelous qualities is how much I love people. Getting pets and snuggling close are two of my favorite ways to spend a rainy afternoon! And, of course, as a pyr puppy, a little mist won’t stop me from being playful. Romping around in a yard is a must-have on my daily schedule! One day, I’ll grow into a mesmerizing pyr lady, but don’t get lost in the mists of time yet because I’ve still got a lot of growing to do. Amidst all the hugs and zoomies, I’ll also need to do some training. Us baby pyrs need continued potty training, leash training, and basic command training all through positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement means using only treats and praise to help me learn all these important life skills. I’ll tell you what I can see clearly through the mist. It’s my new family adopting me! Could it be you?

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
