Hello, darlings! I’m Maya, and I’m so happy to be at my GPRA foster home. I’m getting lots of love, and my foster mama says affection is the way to my heart. When you stop petting me, I give you pyr paw to say, “More pets, please!” Kids are my favorite type of humans to be with because they never stop giving me attention, but I love all my humans very much. But, when my foster family needs to leave the house, I do just fine by myself as long as I’m not in a crate. The crate makes me nervous! I can be left alone without being destructive, but I do sometimes like to carry my foster parents’ shoe in my mouth. I’m still a pup, so I need my new family to continue leash training and potty training with me. I want to be the very best young pyr-lady I can be! Will you take me home, so I can become a part of your family?

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
