My Story

Maya Clay recently came to GPRA from a shelter in Georgia. While her past is uncertain, her delightful personality quickly won the hearts of the shelter workers, and, more recently, her foster family. She is eager to please and is working on basic commands. Walking is one of her favorite activities. Maya likes to make new friends, both human and dog, along the way. Maya loves belly rubs, cuddling, and being brushed. She’s a love bug that is looking for her furever home. Could Maya be the Pyr for you?

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
