I’m actually a loving, loyal, 2.5-year-old, 120 lb. guy, despite my adventurous sounding name. I’m great with people, happily share my food with my two medium-size dog siblings and am just about house-trained. I’ll admit to being a bit shy at first, I feel better when people sit down and we’re eye-to-eye. I bet it’s never occurred to you how tall humans look to those of us living below your knees, has it? Of course, if we snuggle up on the couch, then we’re all set! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
