Hey y’all, I am Marty and I just rolled in from Alabama. I am a real live teddy bear that a kind man helped out while I waited out the mandatory stray hold at the county shelter. Far as I can figure I am about 6-7 years old and weigh about 77 lbs. The days of wandering and roaming can be tiring so now I get to be a GPRA boy. They told me they will help me find a fabulous fur-ever home. I am in a foster home and getting treated right nice. I am starting to get used to this fine treatment. I am good with other dogs and cats and everyone I meet. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
