Great Pyrenees

Hi y’all, I’m a southern belle, may I live with you? I’m a 1.5-year-old who, at 47 lbs., needs a few more meals to fill in my girlish figure. Having survived on my own before the Alabama shelter, I’m ready for people and petting and soft pillows and someplace safe where I can stay for a very long time. Yes, I’m asking a lot since I don’t know enough about myself to tell you why I’m a good choice but if you foster me, we could get to know each other. There’s a chance I’m a little timid, maybe afraid of cars or loud noises because I was a stray but I’m so young, I’m sure you can help me grow through whatever happened in my past. So, I’ll ask again, may I live with you? May I meet you? If yes, please email or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
