My Story

Hi, I’m Maple 🍁

Not long ago, I was living deep in the woods in Murphy, North Carolina, with my mom (Juniper), my dad (Timber), and my nine siblings. It was really cold, and the wind was strong—but my parents did their very best to keep us safe, tucking us into a den beneath a huge uprooted tree.

Then one day, everything changed. Kind people found us and brought us to safety. We went from the cold woods to a warm, safe place where we could truly relax, grow, and just be puppies.

Right now, I’m in a foster home with some of my sisters, but I can’t wait to find a family of my very own.

I’m a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix, and I’m equal parts cuddle bug and soulful companion.

There’s just something a little special about me—I don’t just join your home, I become part of your family. I’m already showing my unique personality and growing into a loyal, lifelong best friend.

I love being close, whether it’s for cozy morning snuggles or just hanging out by your side. And don’t worry—I’ll also keep a watchful eye out for any suspicious… leaves 🍃
