Magnus Q
Magnus is a great name for a great 3-year-old 86 lb. boy like me who thinks he’s a lap dog, knows he’s spoiled, and soaks up all kinds of attention. I take my work seriously, barking and guarding as does any Pyr worth his fur but tell me thing are “OK” and I’ll believe you. Human “puppies”—kids—are sweet, I like playing with them, cats, and other dogs. Now, I’ve been known to growl a bit if another dog approaches my food bowl and speaking of food, I’ve also been caught eating toilet paper. To my credit, I’m fine being left alone, which is good because I’m not fond of crates, and prefer my nails cut rather than shaved down. How do I know so much about me? Well, I have a loving family but with the kids grown, and my parents working most of the time, they’ve decided to send me lovingly into a new home where people will adore me. Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
