Hi, everyone! I’m Magnolia Joy. I do have the most glorious, soft white fur like the petals of my namesake: the magnolia flower. My foster mama says I’m beautiful on the inside and out. Sometimes, I’m a little scared when I first meet you, but I warm up quickly. Then, my puppy energy and love just blossoms! I even like those little flower buds called kids. We have fun playing together! I have a lot of affection and liveliness for my fellow doggies too. I’m used to being around other dogs, so I get along very well with them. One part of doggo life I’m still learning is how to walk more elegantly on the leash. My foster mom says I’m a pretty good walker, but, sometimes, I can be strong on the leash. I have an inner strength too, though, so I know as my confidence continues to bloom, I’ll become the best walker this side of the Mississippi! If you’re looking for an absolute love bug to join your family, look no further because I’m ready to come home with you.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
