My Story

Hi everyone! My name is Maggie, and I’m a sweet, playful girl looking for my forever family! 💕

I am new to the rescue and still on the thin side, but thanks to lots of love and care in my foster home, they are helping me gain weight so I can fill out nicely. My foster mom and dad say I’m one of the sweetest girls around!

I absolutely LOVE playing with other dogs! Wrestling, zooming around the yard, and making new furry friends are some of my favorite things ever. Because I’m such an energetic and social girl, I would really love a home with another playful dog who can keep up with me and be my best buddy.

I’m also a great work-from-home companion. I like hanging out in the home office and keeping my foster mom company while she works. I’m happy just being near my people.

I’m house trained and will politely sit by the door when I need to go outside. If you don’t notice me fast enough, I’ll give the door a little scratch to remind you. Smart girl, right? I also know commands like “sit,” “come,” and “down,” and I also figured out the doggy door.

I’m friendly with strangers, gentle with children, and I ignore cats. I even do well with grooming! I’m easygoing, loving, and always ready for fun or cuddles.

Now, I do have one little talent… I’m clever enough to open doors sometimes, so my forever family will need to keep an eye on me and have a secure yard. Adventure calls my name!

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, happy girl to add love and laughter to your home, I might just be your perfect match. 💖

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
