Hey, Everybody! I’m Luna Lu, and it’s nice to meet you. Foster Mama says I warm up quickly to my humans, so I promise I’ll love you to the moon and back! My foster mom also says I’ve got a very happy and playful personality. Because playing is my favorite activity, I’d be over the moon to have a doggy sibling. What’s funny is when I don’t have another dog to play with, I like to chase tennis balls, but I won’t fetch. I’m a pyr, after all! When I’m not outside having a blast, I’ll stay by your side to get lots of pets. In the house, I’m a calm girl. Just call me over because I know my name and say, “Luna, sit.” I know that command, and I like to do that when I take treats gently from your hand. Foster Mom says I’m food-motivated, so if you offer me a treat, I’ll be sure to listen. Foster Mom has already used this trick to teach me sit/stay/release, walk with me, stop, cross, and around. While on the leash, I do pull a little from excitement, but I am a great walker because I can follow all these commands. Another one of my pyr-fect qualities that will have you mooning over me is that I’m housetrained! I really am a polite young pyr lady even in the car. Don’t wait until the next blue moon! Ask to meet me today!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
