Luna Lu

Hey, Everybody! I’m Luna Lu, and it’s nice to meet you. Foster Mama says I warm up quickly to my humans, so I promise I’ll love you to the moon and back! My foster mom also says I’ve got a very happy and playful personality. Because playing is my favorite activity, I’d be over the moon to have a doggy sibling. What’s funny is when I don’t have another dog to play with, I like to chase tennis balls, but I won’t fetch. I’m a pyr, after all! When I’m not outside having a blast, I’ll stay by your side to get lots of pets. In the house, I’m a calm girl. Just call me over because I know my name and say, “Luna, sit.” I know that command, and I like to do that when I take treats gently from your hand. Foster Mom says I’m food-motivated, so if you offer me a treat, I’ll be sure to listen. Foster Mom has already used this trick to teach me sit/stay/release, walk with me, stop, cross, and around. While on the leash, I do pull a little from excitement, but I am a great walker because I can follow all these commands. Another one of my pyr-fect qualities that will have you mooning over me is that I’m housetrained! I really am a polite young pyr lady even in the car. Don’t wait until the next blue moon!
