Howdy, y’all! I’m Luke Spencer, and Luke means light-giving. That name makes sense for me because you can see my bright white coat and the light sparkling in my eyes. I’m a young pyr boy, so I’m sure to be the light of your life with my good pyr energy and lots of love to give. My GPRA friends tell me I’m light on my feet which means I’m good on the leash! We can take walks during the daylight hours or stroll in the winter moonlight. Either way, I’ll be friendly to everyone I meet because I’m good with people and kids. I’ll light up everyone’s day with my enthusiasm! I’m even good with those lightweight dogs, small dogs. If you want to wake up at first light and do a coffee run, I can come too because I’m a great car rider! While I’m still growing up, I consider humans my leading light and listen well to them. I already know the commands: sit and come! I’m a lighthearted pyr looking for a loving family to light up my life. Could it be you?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
