Hey there, I am Liam.  I am a gorgeous young boy approximately 1.5-2 yrs old who came to GPRA with serious injuries to my back-end area. Thanks to my hero, a Policeman in Rome, GA who found me on the side of the road and contacted a group of people who helped me get to this rescue group with the hopes of a second chance.  After my emergency surgery, I was sent to a experienced foster home where I am getting my daily therapy and gaining my strength back everyday.  I love getting attention from humans and cannot wait to get back to normal activity of taking long walks and enjoying a cool evening on the deck watching the sun set.  I am searching for my forever home where I can be a part of family.  I want to be that special boy that you come home to at night and just make your day even better.  If you think I can be that for you, contact GPRA today at

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
