Great Pyrenees

Looking for a 105 lb. lap dog? I’m Lexi a 6-year-old SPCA now GPRA rescue and I’m your girl!! My current family is moving and I’m happy they’re helping me find my third and hopefully furever home before they go. I’ve heard some people just leave their dogs behind—alone!—so this a good thing.  The most important thing to know about me is I love, as in all the time love, to cuddle. Mom says I’m a sweet, exceptional dog, who wants to hangout on the couch and snuggle. I like being outside, I like kids, I do not like enclosed spaces. In fact, I once clawed and fought my way out of the garage like a Hollywood super hero on their way to save the world. It will be much better if my new home has a fenced yard so I can run and play. A long time ago I think I was a breeder dog but now I thrive on attention and love, do you have extra of either to share? If yes, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
