If you’re curious about your family history, maybe we can do one of those ancestry kits together since I know nothing about my past. The nice GPRA vet says I’m about 2 years old, weigh 93 lbs., sweet, friendly, and ride well in the car. And my pictures prove I’m handsome so really what else do you need to know? Nah, I get it, I wish I could share more, too. I see a lot of other GPRA rescues want safe homes and loving humans, too. I bet my foster family—when I get one—will tell you more about me, after we spend some time together. Oh, hey, here’s an idea: maybe you could be my foster! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
