Lana
Hey, I have a Hollywood name, now all I need is a superstar family! Yep, I’ve decided this two-year-old, 90.4 lb. girl is named for the ravishing, classy film star Lana Turner. Which means it’s time to begin scripting my first movie. I think it should be a bio pic about a former stray who, after a minimum of 2.5 months alone, allowed a stranger to befriend her. The story continues as the beautiful Lana who showed no aggression toward other dogs but thought to be a runner who needs secure fencing and leash walks, moves from a shelter to GPRA. Then as the film ends, my new story begins. With you. Or maybe someone you know and trust? Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
