Lady
Well, it’s time to find out what comes next for this six-year-old, 90 lb. girl who desperately wants to come inside. I’m a super sweet, gentle, loving dog who’s good with grown-ups, cats, and even free-roaming chickens. I might do best as an only dog. Know what else? I’m an excellent protector, too, especially with my humans on hikes. See, I like playing outside, I just don’t want to spend all day in the yard and all night in the garage. Oh, and I don’t want to live near a golf course, either. I’ll bark and bark at those moving carts until they know whose boss and go away. Unfortunately, I’m not so brave about thunderstorms, fireworks or gunshots. Last but not least, I need a new person who will teach me all the comforts of living indoors and sharing my dining space with other pets. I’m a little food reactive but I hear the right person can work with me on that, too. Hey, are you my right person? Will you at least please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below and talk about it with one of their people?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
