Aloha! My name is Kona, and while I don’t come from sunny Hawaii, I do have a Hawaiian name. It means “lady.” According to my foster mom, I’m definitely a little lady because she describes me as lovely! I’m little too because I’m just a baby girl pup which means I’ll need lots of love and training. Through praise and treats, which is positive reinforcement, I can learn how to potty outside and how to do basic commands. Right now, playing in the backyard is one of my favorite things to do, but cuddling is something I love just as much. Kona coffee is known for its sweet taste, after all, and Foster Mama says I’m the sweetest! If you’re ready to raise this pyr girlie into a pyr lady, then consider adopting me today.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
