Kim
Hi-ya! I’m Kim. My name has a lot of different meanings! In Old English, my name means bold family, and that makes sense because I love my family. My foster mom says I’m especially good with kids, but I love to cuddle with everyone. It also means bold kin, and I consider my foster doggy siblings my kin. I love them very much too; my foster mama has plenty of pictures of us snuggling. In Welsh, my name means leader. I’m not old enough to lead my own pack, but I am an excellent pack member in both my dog and human family. Foster Mom says I am very responsive to commands and listen well. In Medieval England, my name meant royal fortress, and I treat my foster home like royalty! I never potty in the house. I’m a loving, loyal pup who can’t wait to come home with you!
Our Mama is a PYR and we heard that our father might be a spotted hound. We have short hair and single dew claws on our paws.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
