Great Pyrenees
Little is known about me because I came from an Alabama shelter.  All I will need is a little patience to learn new routines, consistency to guide me when unsure of new surroundings, and love to build my trust. Great Pyrenees are very confident and smart dogs and successfully transition to inside dogs and become devoted and loving companions. With the right amount of exercise and attention, I will most likely curl up on the softest bed and doze the day away while also guarding the home front. GPRA volunteers told me that I am a very handsome, sweet boy that loves car rides and really enjoys walks. Pyrs ask for very little but give so much. If you are willing to provide me with your time and loving care, I will be your faithful Pyr until the end… Jasper

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
