Hi. I am Jasper. Can I first share that my life completely changed one day. You see, I had been wandering on my own for a very long time – so long that my puppy collar was getting very tight on me. During those days, I was always searching for food and water. Someone even shot me. Yes, that was a bad day.

When some good humans discovered me wandering a neighborhood, they set out to capture me, which was no easy task. They literally saved my life. (Thank you.) Although getting caught was not what I thought I wanted, life with Rescue has been really good. Food and fresh water appear every day, kind words and affection are showered on me, and I am getting the best vet care. Well, I could do without the vet care, but I know it’s for my own good.

Would you believe that I am already walking on a leash and letting GPRA’s trainer fuss with me? He does this to learn more about me and to see how I interact with humans. I must be doing well for a young boy that has been on his own because everyone is amazed at my progress.

Just keep in mind that I have a lot to learn, and it will take time for me to trust. If you are willing to help me on my journey, I will be forever indebted to you.
