So, I’m an interesting 6-year-old, 112 lb. guy who’s still figuring a few things out. My first family chose me at 8 weeks but for some reason, they asked GPRA to find me a new home. Maybe it’s because they didn’t think I was happy in the new home that was smaller and that my kids had grown up and moved away. Everyone here talks about “what a great boy” I am. Speaking of, I’m already house trained, good on a leash, like kids and strangers, and usually fine with other dogs, although you may need to introduce us slowly. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
