Hey y’all, I’m Jack, new to GPRA, a very kind person got me off living on a chain and asked GPRA to help me. I’m supposed to be good with other dogs, especially small dogs. The nice person who got me off the chain took me to the vet and a groomer who thought i needed a complete shave down. I’m a little embarrassed right now at having absolutely NO coat but it’s only hair and will grow back. More info coming soon…

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
