Peace, love, and pyrs, am I right? I’m Hippy, and it’s just groovy to meet you! A family who is ready for a young pyr girl would be far out, that’s hippy slang for awesome. When I meet someone new, I’m a little shy, but once I get to know you, I warm up quicker than a lava lamp! Hippies were known for their community living, and I’m honestly a people-pup. I love my humans! Being mellow and getting snuggles from my foster family is outta sight! I’ll even be a good pyr girl when you brush me or take me to the vet. I have a doggy foster sister as well, and we’ve had nothing but good vibes between us. Because I’ve got a lot of righteous energy, I do need a doggy playmate in my new home. Playing in the backyard with my foster dog sis is boss, so I’ll also need a backyard, for sure. Every day, I like to really get my flower power on with nature walks. Because I’m good on the leash, I think you’ll really dig walking me. Smelling the roses, smelling anything really, makes me so happy, so I do pull a little on the leash at first. After a while, though, I go with the flow. You know what else is neato about me? I’m house-trained! I would be so stoked if this Hippy could find her home! Please consider adopting me, today!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
