Hi, I’m Hero, a 1 year old young boy who wants to be the hero of your house. I had a bad report card last semester in school and I failed some of my classes. With that, I am having to give up my dream of being LGD and settle for a life in the suburbs. How bad can that be? I did love being is school and loved learning but I know I will do best at being a companion dog for a family instead. I am learning everyday new tricks and manners with my new foster home and get along great with my fur siblings. I ride well in a car and love to have my ears scratched. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
