My Story

Hi, I’m Hemlock! I’m a happy, outgoing puppy girl with a whole lot of energy and an even bigger love for life. My foster family says my joyful personality always puts a smile on their faces. I think that’s a pretty good superpower to have!

You may notice I’m missing a leg, but I certainly don’t! I don’t let it slow me down one bit. I love to play, explore outside, and take in all the good sniffs. I’m great with other dogs and curious about cats. I’ve also never met a stranger—new friends are just more people for me to love!

I’m a very affectionate girl who loves hugs, snuggles, and being close to my people. I don’t resource guard my food or toys, and on my foster family’s property, I’m wonderful about following along with them.

Because I’m still a young, energetic pup, I would really benefit from having a young canine companion who enjoys playing as much as I do. And since I navigate life on three legs, a home without stairs would be ideal for me.

I may be considered a special-needs puppy, but I consider myself pretty special for an entirely different reason. I’m a sweet, silly, energetic girl who approaches every day with pure happiness—and I’m ready to share all that joy with my forever family.

Could that be you?

Love,
Hemlock šŸ¾ā¤ļø

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
