Helios
I have no idea why a 4.5-year-old, 118 lb. majestic male Pyrenees such as myself is named after the Greek Sun god. I promise you I’ve never driven a chariot across the sky from east to west or sailed the northerly stream of the ocean every night in a giant cup! My real life is much more ordinary. I used to live inside but have been outside with Pax, Bella Luna, Hunka Munka, and Clorox the last two years. Other dogs and kids are a plus, cats are TBD. I hear a lot of dog people feel that way about cats, lol. Anyway, I’m laid back but also ready to protect my property. Oh, and car rides are fun so if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt”, maybe I can ride home with you?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
