Goldie
Hi, I’m Goldie, and I’m here to tell you that I’m worth my weight in gold due to my pyr-fect personality! My foster family says I’m a sweet and easy-going dog. As a young pyr lady, I’ve still got that good as gold pyr energy. Because I get a gold star for being friendly, I can have lots of fun playing with other dogs. At my foster home, I live with another female dog, and we go for gold when it comes to being best buds. My only preference is that we are fed separately; otherwise, we’re golden! I also have a heart of gold when it comes to cats. We even sleep together in the same bed! If they run, I do like to chase, but I’m easily redirected. If you’re looking for a dog who will let you know what’s going on, then look no further because I am a good pyr barker. As the saying goes, silence is golden unless you’re a pyr! Foster Dad and I are working on my inside barking, though, and I’m getting better. For me, living in a quiet suburb will be a golden opportunity because I really do like a surrounding without a lot of city noise. Besides being great with other dogs and cats, I’m fantastic with humans, of course. With me, you’ll strike gold because I’m good with people and kids! Coming home with you would be like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Please consider taking me home today!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
