Hi, my name is Godfrey. I am a stunning Great Pyrenees Mix (GPRA thinks Lab/Pyr). I am around 2.5 years old and close to 70 lbs. I found my way to GPRA thanks to a sponsor who sprung me out of the local shelter after my stray hold was up and no one came looking for me. My first day with GPRA I just knew my life was getting better. I have met some wonderful people who just give me all sorts of attention and have meet some wonderful furry critters too. I think I will be in great hands here and now I need is a family to call my own. I walk well on a leash and will enjoy my evening walks exploring my new home. I appear to keep hearing from everyone that I am the perfect boy since I don’t have the long white coat like the pyrs but I did get the endearing qualities like being a big lap dog. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
