Bonjour, my pyr friends! I’m Gigi! My name is from France, and like the French, I enjoy the finer things in life. To me, the finest things in this world are my humans, adults and kiddos alike! Foster Mama tells me I’m a velcro dog because I stick by her side. My favorite way to spend an afternoon is cuddling on the couch with her. I’m the best couch companion because I’m warm and fluffy just like a croissant! In France, the restroom is called a water closet. Well, I’m a dog and don’t use the water closet, but I am good at pottying outside. I go to the door to say, “Let me out, please!” Besides being housetrained, I’m also okay to be left alone without the crate. In Paris, everyone walks everywhere, and I like to walk too! Foster Mom says I’m excellent on the leash. I have other skills too; I know the commands: sit, stay, come, and down. Paris is also known as the romantic capital of the world, and while I don’t know much about romance, I do have love for my fellow canine friends. While I’m good with other dogs and people, I am a bit timid. The outside world is a little scary to me, but my foster mama is helping to build my confidence. If you’re looking for a sweet but shy girl who will be your amie, your best friend, then look no further. I’m here and ready to come home with you!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
