My Story

Hi there, I’m Fluffy, and while the name might make me sound like a delicate little cloud, I’m actually a strong, loyal, gentle giant with a heart just as big as I am!

I recently found myself in need of a new home because my person—who loved me dearly—had to move to be closer to family. It wasn’t an easy goodbye, but I’m hopeful that the next chapter of my story brings me to you.

I’m what you’d call a true indoor/outdoor girl—I love spending time inside with my people! I’m also house-trained and know how to use a doggy door like a pro. Since crates just aren’t my thing (I can bust out of them all!), I’ll do best in a home with a secure fenced yard and a doggy door. That way, if you’re not home, I can enjoy both the comfort of being inside and the freedom to head outdoors when I need to. My activity level is moderate: I enjoy a good walk or backyard sniff session, but I’m also a fan of napping, especially if it’s near my favorite human.

I’m a sweet, gentle soul who loves calm companionship. I do get startled by sudden noises or fast movements, so a quieter household would be ideal. I’m great with respectful kids—just keep in mind that my size makes me a bit of a clumsy cuddle bug. I’ve been known to accidentally knock the littles over, though I’d never mean to.

I tolerate other dogs, but I need time to adjust and please don’t ask me to share my food or toys. I’ll let them know with a low growl—it’s just my way of setting healthy boundaries.

The vet doctor has me on a diet (rude!), but I know it’s for the best and I’m feeling better and getting healthier by the day. I’m ready to fill your life with warmth, wiggles, and watchful protection.

I’d love a forever family—or even a foster home—to call my own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and paws big enough to hold the whole world, I might just be your girl.
