Furgus
Isn’t my name fun? F-u-r instead of F-e-r to match all the long, white fur on my stunning 6-year-old, 142 lb. male self? Yeah, I’m a big boy and according to the vet, need your help getting my beach body ready for summer. I think I love food because my family found me as an emaciated, dehydrated, flea- and lice-covered puppy on Interstate 20. They loved me back to health, raised me, and as difficult as it is, asked GPRA to please find a safe new home when they got blindsided by some unwanted and upsetting changes. I can tell you some things about me so you won’t be surprised, though. I’m pretty low key; love kids and car rides; I like my cat but not necessarily all cats; storms don’t bother me; and trips to Petsmart can be very time consuming since people are constantly adoring me. What else? Oh yeah, I’m crate and house trained, good on a leash, enjoy camping, and do not like having things sprayed on me. Are you ready to meet me yet? If so, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below, I promise I won’t play hard to get!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
