Hi everyone, I’m Emma, a 5 yr old petite girl at only 77 lbs so that makes me a ‘Pocket Pyr’. While many people like the big pups, I am told there are some people who really prefer the slightly smaller version of a Great Pyrenees. I ride in the car really well, I’m well behaved and good on leash and very friendly. I am hoping to get my forever home soon so that I can enjoy all the upcoming Holiday activities I keep hearing people talk about. I am very thankful for the rescue group to help me get all cleaned up and pretty again. I promise I will be your most loyal friend. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
